Welcome to Muddy Creek Hedgehogs, located in Oxford, Michigan.  It all started back in 2011 when we purchased our first pet hedgehog, whom our then 4 year old son named "Dinner".  We instantly fell in love and under the name Eternal Hedgehogs, we eventually grew to be one of Michigan's largest USDA licensed and inspected breeders.  In 2014, we moved out of the city and back to country roots.  Our home on 11 acres now provides the freedom to experience the joys of owning a wide variety of and farm animals in addition to our hedgies.  We have since changed our name from "Eternal Hedgehogs" in order to reflect our new start.

In the winter of 2021, we took a break from breeding in order to focus on our growing family, but we couldn't be without the hedgies forever.  Although we now have a smaller hedgehog herd than we did previously, we still continue to be family oriented, ethically responsible, and committed to providing happy, healthy pets to families who will adore them.  Our level of care and commitment to our animals will continue to reflect the same standards which has allowed us to maintain a flawless track record with the USDA for 10 years as a larger-scale breeder.  Our USDA license application has been submitted to APHIS and is currently pending reinstatement.  For more information regarding a specific animal in terms of their care requirements, our experience, policies,  and availability, please visit the appropriate pages as listed in the site menu.
